The first was in 2017 with her play Friends With Guns directed also by Randee Trabitz that went on to an L.A. Times Critics’ Choice production at The Road Theatre Company in North Hollywood, called a “savage feminist parable” by the L.A. Times and “one of the year’s most provocative plays” by Don Shirley of LA Observed. Friends With Guns will be produced in Chicago in Fall 2020 by Broken Nose Theatre. Stephanie is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Antaeus Playwrights Lab, Playwrights Union and HONOR ROLL! — an action and advocacy group of women+ playwrights over forty whose aim is to significantly increase our inclusion and representation on stage and in the theatrical canon.
